O Verão está aí por isso achei interessante mostrar-vos o trabalho de Jim Denevan.
Denevan faz desenhos na areia, sem qualquer ajuda de instrumentos mecânicos, trabalhando 7 horas e percorrendo cerca de 49 km. O resultado final é 100% manual sem recurso a qualquer instrumento de medição.

Denevan makes freehand drawings in sand laboring up to 7 hours and walking as many as 30 miles. The resulting sand drawing is made entirely freehand with no measuring aids whatsoever.

A cidade de Évora é património mundial pela riqueza histórica e cultural dos seus edifícios. Este foi um dos poucos trabalhos que encontrei pela cidade e que pode ser visto nas traseiras da Sé de Évora.

By its cultural and historical riches of its buildings, Évora is a World Heritage Site. This was one of the few works I saw there and you can find it on the rear of the Sé de Évora.

Provavelmente muitos de vós já conhecem esta aplicação interactiva de partilha de “pinturas”. Chama-se WetPaint Please Touch e é um excelente conceito bem como uma óptima maneira de passar(\perder) tempo. :)
O objectivo é pintar, usando os materiais disponibilizados, e quando a tinta acabar, passar o trabalho para ser continuado por outros, ou dá-lo por concluído para poder ser adicionado à galeria online.

Esta é a fachada de uma velha loja abandonada na baixa de Lisboa. Já tinha partilhado o pormenor de um dos stickers no blog mas achei que a fachada e o pormenor dos outros trabalhos também merecia ser explorado.

Banksy vs Bristol Museum

De volta ao blog com um convite irrecusável, principalmente se estão a pensar em ir até Bristol, ou mesmo se moram aí!
O City Museum and Art Gallery recebe, até ao final de Agosto, a exposição "Banksy vs Bristol Museum" - cerca de 100 trabalhos de Banksy, entre eles stencils, instalações, espaços com animatronics (marionetas e bonecos animados por robótica) e peças sensoriais.
Espreitem! ;)
