Um vidro partido serviu de base para este trabalho expontâneo encontrado numa das ruas da baixa lisboeta. Tenho dúvidas se o TBA teria sido o autor da tv e da antena mas, resultou bem. Simples e eficaz. :)

A broken glass became the canvas for this spontaneous piece found in one of Lisbon's downtown streets. I'm not sure if TBA drew the tv or the antenna picking up signals but it turned out well. Simple and efficient. :)

Num dos meus passeios pela Baixa Lisboeta, encontrei este rapaz perto de um restaurante "janota" com a esplanada cheia de turistas loiros e com grandes canecas de cerveja em cima da mesa. A azáfama da esplanada quase que o fez passar despercebido mas havia ali algo de irregular no meio envolvente que me chamou a atenção. Parei. Voltei atrás e ali fiquei durante uns minutos a apreciar, o traço e a textura do papel.
Ele assina como Tinta Crua. É de Lisboa, a ilustração é o seu ponto forte e a lista de nomes de artistas que o inspiram é infinita.

Found this little boy downtown nearby a fancy restaurant crowded with blonde tourists having lots of beer outside. I was walking and then stopped and turned around just to check it out.
Tinta Crua is the artist's name. He's from Lisbon, Illustration is his major talent and he has an endless list of artist names that truly inspire his work.

Este é um dos poucos stencils de Jef Aerosol de Fernando Pessoa que se viram pelas ruas de Lisboa (este foi registado em 2009).
Pessoa é um dos mais brilhantes escritores portugueses do século XX, e um dos meus preferidos pela sua complexidade nas ideas e sentimentos dos seus vários heterónimos.
Não sou nada.
Nunca serei nada.
Não posso querer ser nada.
À parte isso, tenho em mim todos os sonhos do mundo.

This is one of a few Jef Aerosol's stencils of Fernando Pessoa seen around Lisbon (this photo was taken in 2009).
Pessoa is one of the most brilliant portuguese writers of the 20th century, and one of my favourite ones mostly because of his complexity of ideas and feelings on each and single heteronyms.
I am nothing.
I will never be anything.
I cannot wish to be anything.
Bar that, I have in me all the dreams of the world.
